If you have been down to The Cape's community garden recently, you will have seen that our garden beds are bursting with organic tomatoes. With hundreds of kilograms already harvested over the past month and more still to come, we have decided it’s time to do some passata making! Come along to The Cape's display home to help (or watch) the big passata cookup.
WHEN: Sunday 11th March, between 10AM and 4PM WHERE: The Cape – Periwinkle Place, Cape Paterson We are excited to announce that works are underway for the construction of Stage 2 at The Cape, which is due to be completed in July with titled lots soon afterwards.

If you have a bike and a yearning for beautiful scenery, then the Bass Coast Rail Trail beckons. A short 10 minutes drive from The Cape, this rail trail was once a vital link for transporting black coal from the Wonthaggi coalfields to Melbourne and beyond, powering Victoria’s steam train network. Starting in the heart of Wonthaggi, the rail trail heads in a westerly direction past the historic coal fields, before crossing rural country with a view towards the coast, wind farms, wetlands and dunes. After a few kilometres the trail crosses the picturesque Powlett River before taking in wetlands and other beautiful watercourses.
