Stage 3 at The Cape is getting closer to selling out!

We're hearing from more and more people considering an e-change, that is, moving away from cities to regional centres to enjoy a better quality of life. More Melbournians are working remotely and recognizing the lifestyle benefits that can come with it.

With vast amounts of open space, stunning beaches on its doorstep and NBN connection to every home, The Cape is experiencing one of its busiest sales periods with Stage 1 completely sold out, only one lot left in Stage 2 and Stage 3 approaching 70% sold. At this rate there will be very few lots left in Stage 3 during the busy summer period!

Nestled in the centre of The Cape sustainable housing estate in Cape Paterson, and featuring large swathes of parklands with beautiful ocean views, Stage 3 has it all. Home sites in this stage are a short walk to either of The Cape’s beaches and an even shorter walk along beautifully landscaped granitic sand paths to the community gardens, expansive children’s adventure playground, wetlands, parklands, off-leash dog park, nature walks and an amazing 50% open space.

A diverse range of home sites feature stunning ocean views over beautiful Bass Strait, as well as parklands, walking paths and wetlands. Allotments range in size from 405 m2 townhouse lots to over 1000 m2, so there is something for everyone. Stage 3 adjoins a new chain of parks and wetlands currently being completed by the landscape team.

The relaxed coastal lifestyle of The Cape with our ocean view home sites this close to Melbourne are increasingly rare these days. At the Cape, the beautiful Bunurong Coastal Drive is 5 minutes away and the towns of Inverloch and Wonthaggi, which feature all the necessary shops, infrastructure and services, are only 10 minutes away.

The Cape’s design process will guarantee you a beautiful, passive solar home with year round comfort and super low running costs. You may also be eligible for the Federal Governement's Homebuilder grant of $25,000.

All homes are connected to NBN with high speed fibre optic direct to the home, and the coastal landscape entices as healthy, active lifestyle.  Don’t miss your chance to join Victoria’s most sustainable community.

HomeBuilder grant applies to The Cape houses

Great news, The Cape's beautiful and sustainable homes attract the Federal Government's HomeBuilder Grant of $25,000! This can be on top of first home buyer grants that may also be applicable.

Cape homes are situated next to the ocean, with great social connection, hectares of open space and are comfortable all year round with super low runnig costs.

Our builders have house and land packages ready to go right now, and one of our buidlers is The Sociable Weaver. Here's some information from the team who built Victoria's first 10 star house:

At The Sociable Weaver we design & build architectural homes to exist in harmony with the natural world. We create homes and structures that are regenerative, inspiring, and foster a sense of belonging for everyone who experiences the space. We are not only interested in creating homes; we are interested in creating a new way of being - one that inspires a richer, deeper & more meaningful connection for the inhabitant, and has a positive impact on the world in which we live. We build our homes to outlast a lifetime, using materials and methodologies that honour the vitality of the planet.  We love working with passionate people to bring their dream homes to life and are proud to be a certified B Corp business and certified Passive House builders. Working with The Sociable Weaver you'll see over 80% of construction waste being recycled, minimum energy ratings of 7.5 stars, mindful and impactful use of passive solar and passive house design principles as well as a number of other environmental initiatives such as offsetting our carbon impact through tree plantings and keep cup only site policies.

The Sociable Weaver have a number of pre-designed house and land packages ready to tailor to your needs. Some of our favourites which would be perfect at The Cape are:

The Bungalow – House and land from $549k
The Bungalow is a small footprint, minimalist three-bedroom home that invites the inhabitants to strip back their lives to focus on the things that are really important in life.
A light-filled double-height raked ceiling in the living area creates a beautiful sense of space. While a European laundry and a mezzanine study nook make clever use of this compact design.
Outdoors, the external facade has been designed to allow greenery to grow over the entire home, changing colours with the seasons—a beautiful way to feel more connected to nature’s cycles.

Correa – House and land from $499k
Correa is a beautiful example of how smart layouts can enhance a small footprint, three-bedroom design. All bedrooms and living spaces face north for natural light, maximising passive solar design and all usable service areas to the South. The Eastern decking flows as the entry point and overflow space creating space and openness.

The Cove – House and land from $779k
The Cove design wraps around a central courtyard to provide a hidden oasis and inviting constant and fluid engagement with nature, while maintaining privacy. Three bedrooms sit on one arm of the u-shaped house and the living/dining and master bedroom on the opposite arm. This unique design is suitable for any climate or setting, and would be particularly suited to areas that receive high winds, where the central courtyard can offer a retreat.
